Don't worry - there's always a first time !
Whether it’s your first Yoga class or your 100th, following common sense and basic rules and respecting others goes a long way in making everyone’s Yoga experience enjoyable, relaxed and stress free.
Sign in for your class at the Front Desk when you arrive at the studio.
Yoga is done barefoot. Please remove your shoes and socks before entering the classroom and always before you step on your Yoga mat.
Please leave your phone outside of the classroom.
One you step into the classroom, you are expected to be silent and refrain from chatting with others.
Arrive at your class at least 15 minutes prior to class time.
Be mindful, recognizing that someone may have allergies or sensitivities. Try and skip the perfume until after class.
There are no bags or personal belongings allowed in the practice room.
We all sweat! Some more than others, so as a courtesy to the next class, please wipe the excess sweat around your mat before leaving the class.
You are taking a “guided” class, so please follow the teacher. If you need to take a break in a class, take a resting pose until you are ready to join the flow of the class.
Have to leave class early and miss the final pose? That’s the best part, final relaxation and meditation! Stay near the exit door, if you need to leave early, to avoid disturbing others when you exit.
Yoga mat. Don’t have one with you? No problem, rent one from us!
Keep well hydrated! Forgot your water? No worry, water bottles on sale at the Front Desk.
Forgot your towels? Hand and Shower towels are available to all Zen Members.
Avoid coming to class on a full stomach, but make sure you’re well nourished. You’ll need energy for your class.
Wear workout clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in. Lightweight and breathable materials are preferred to absorb sweat and dry easy. Men usually wear a t-shirt or tank top and loose fitting shorts and pants. Women wear tank tops, shorts, Yoga pants or loose fitting clothing.
